Glamestris

A foray into gaming artificial intelligence this is an algorithm developed to play Tetris. Though the game seems simple, the variation of pieces and orders makes this problem NP-Complete.    STARLIGHT

Knowledge Representation, Knowledge Extraction, and Plain Text Analysis. This is an attempt to extract and manipulate useful information from a regular document. Applications are numerous, including: Summarization, Language Translation, Question Answering, and Bias Removal from News Stories.

   NoVA

A sub-project within STARLIGHT, NoVA is investigating the link between syntax and semantics, structure and knowledge. In order to do large-scale knowledge extraction, the links between the linguistic building blocks and the knowledge they convey must be uncovered. NoVA is an attempt to create the base upon which STARLIGHT will build.

   Nemesis

Steganography is the embedding of encoded messages into images, while making them appear unaltered to the human eye. This obviously has great potential to pass messages undetected via the internet. Thus, Nemesis is an attempt to detect an image which has been altered with steganography, separating it for further analysis.
